Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Solas Tor ("we," "us," "our"), a game developed under the King Of None banner, collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website. This site exists to share news about Solas Tor and let you sign up for updates — we don't run a store here and don't collect payment information of any kind.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Email address, if you sign up for pre-alpha access or the newsletter

Automatically collected:

  • Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and device information, collected by our hosting provider as part of normal web traffic

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Send updates about Solas Tor, including pre-alpha access invitations and devlogs
  • Respond to messages or questions you send us
  • Understand basic site traffic so we can keep this page running properly

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

This site relies on a few outside services to work:

  • Formspree — processes the email signup forms on this site. Your email is sent to and stored by Formspree on our behalf; see Formspree's Privacy Policy for details.
  • YouTube — our devlogs are embedded from YouTube. Google may collect data when you view or interact with an embedded video; see Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Patreon — the "Support on Patreon" link takes you to Patreon's own site, which has its own separate privacy practices.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage only to remember whether you've responded to the cookie notice on this site, so it doesn't reappear on every visit. We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data Retention

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. You can ask us to remove it at any time using the contact information below, or unsubscribe using the link in any email we send.

7. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict how we use your personal data. Contact us below to exercise these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their email address, contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
